A day in the life of a 16-year old copywriter trying to make money from her room

Welcome to a day in the life of a 16-year-old (when I recorded this) entrepreneur, wantrepreneur, whatever you want to call it, trying to make money from a room in a hoodie. I’m actually starting this video pretty late because I woke up early. I did some client work, I did a workout, I drank coffee, meditated, prayed, and now I’m gonna outreach until I pass out on my keyboard. Honestly, that’s the only way to get clients these days.

02:00 pm

I got my laptop here and my phone, dunno if you can see it. It’s 2:00 PM right now. That’s when I’ll be starting, and yeah, I’ll be doing outreach until I pass out. I have just one package for my VIP coaching. There’s not multiple packages. It is one thing. I’ve only had like two actually decent people replying to my message. You can just reject me instead of leaving me on seen, but I’m gonna follow up until I get blocked.

My offer sucks

I just realized that my offer is really bad. It’s absolute trash. Looking back at these messages, no one would pay much for that. I have to stop being afraid of going for the pitch directly. I’m gonna try to do an opener message and then just pitch them right away. It’s less time waste. It’s direct. If you want to say no, it’s no. If you want to say yes, it’s yes. I just realized like I’m really scared of pitching people and getting rejected, but you know what? I have nothing to lose. If they say no, it is just a step closer to a yes.

05:00 pm

It’s 5:00 PM, the sun is still shining. I’m gonna get groceries, eat some food, take my supplements, read. I’m reading the book “The 50th Law” by Robert Greene and 50 Cent. It’s about independence, discipline, and fearlessness. I think every entrepreneur should have this. One of my favorite books is “$100 Million Leads” by Alex Hormozi and his other book, “$100 Million Offers.” When I recorded this video, “$100 Million Money Models” hadn’t come out yet.

10:00 pm

It’s 10:00 PM, and I feel like a zombie. I did a lot more outreach than earlier. I completed my daily 50 and went to 60 prospects today. I feel kind of discouraged ’cause my strategy seems very off. I have to change that up tomorrow and start a new Excel sheet and track my outreach. I feel unproductive. My focus was down, and I was just jumping from place to place.

Tomorrow’s to-do- list

I usually wake up and get straight to work, but today I was tired. Physically, when you’re not having clients, all you can do is outreach to get clients. I have one client I’m keeping. I just delivered the work, but I’m gonna drop them too, or try to hire the price. I think I just need some sleep. I’m gonna try to do better tomorrow in terms of focus. Before work, I’ll pray, meditate, do my bed, and wash up. Then get straight to work. I hope to get one call booked tomorrow.

I hope this video motivated you to have a productive day. Don’t forget to leave a hate comment because I’ve seen comments about being a girl on self-improvement. I expected it, being in this kind of niche. It’s a male-dominated space, so I don’t really care. Leave a hate comment and don’t subscribe. Also, read the Copyskills Manifesto.
